We've so much appreciated Emily Termond's advice and help as we've gone through a lengthy process of trying to find a house to buy in Santa Barbara, and then finally buying one! We had many limiters that made it difficult to find a house that would be acceptable and attractive to both of us, and was within our budget. Emily went way out of her way to Facetime with us, walking around a number of different possible houses in Santa Barbara, so we didn't have to drive for an hour or more each way, just to look at 1 or 2 houses for a few minutes. She then advised us thoroughly each step along the way when we settled on a house we wanted, made an offer and then counter-offers, until we and the seller agreed on a price.You'd think that once a deal had closed, a realtor would move on to other clients and other houses, but Emily has continued to help us in so many ways, recommending an excellent loan broker (Austin Lampson), meeting with workers, including a pest control company she had recommended that needed to tent the house for termites, someone doing an estimate for gates, leaving a key for the gas co. to turn on the gas after termiting, and recommending and meeting with a handyman to look at options for a doggy door. We can't thank her enough for all of her help to date, and she continues to help us out with recommendations and such a nice warm friendly manner.
